grows in Asia, mainly in India, Pakistan, Madagascar, equatorial Africa, central America and in the tropical region of Oceania. Centella asiatica is effective in treatment of wounds, even in infected wounds, as well as burns and postoperative hypertrophic scars, the terpenoids (TTF) cause a significant increase in the percentage of collagen and cell layer fibronectin.

Lanolin is a yellow fat obtained from sheep's wool. It has traditionally been used topically to treat sore, cracked nipples during breastfeeding. Highly purified lanolin products (e.g., HPA lanolin, Lansinoh) have the pesticide and detergent residues removed and the natural free alcohols reduced to below 1.5% to improve safety and reduce the allergic potential. Lanolin is effective for the prevention and treatment of nipple pain during breastfeeding, but not as a preventative initiated before delivery.

Saquez (Pistacia atlantica, from the Anacardiaceae family),is an oleoresin obtained by scratching the trunks of Baneh trees. It contains flavonoids and flavonoid
glycosides, triterpenoids and phenolic compounds with strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties and thus, cures wounds. Research has shown that saqez ointment is more effective than breast milk in healing nipple fissure and reducing nipple pain in lactating women. In addition, it had more marked effects in controlling and curing nipple fissures compared to breast milk.


One of the most well-known and researched antioxidants for the body and for skin. There are eight basic forms of the entire fat soluble vitamin E molecule, which are either synthetically or naturally derived. The most typical forms are d-alpha-tocopherol, d-alpha-tocopherol acetate, dl-alpha tocopherol, and
dl-alpha tocopherol acetate.
